Reverend Duane Boady arrived at Valley Mission on October 24, 2010.  Pastor Duane has been in full time ministry since February 1998.  Duane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He grew up in a Nazarene Parsonage in Pennsylvania, Florida and Delaware. At the age of 12, Duane believed God was directing him to follow in his father's footsteps.

During Duane's senior year of high school, he decided to join the United States Army Reserves.  He thought that Chaplaincy Ministry was where he would fulfill God's calling on his life.  After a summer of Basic Training, Duane went off to Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts where he would begin his educational preparation for ministry.  Upon graduating ENC in 1994, he subsequently went to Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.  In December 1997, Duane earned the Master's of Divinity from NTS.

In late January of 1998, the small town of Kurtz, Indiana had called Duane to be their pastor.  After 8 long months, Duane met Angela at the district kids camp.  In September 1999, Duane and Angela were married in Bedford.  Angela grew up in Guthrie, Indiana.  She graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1995.  After graduating from High School, she went to Vincennes University.  In 2006 Angela graduated from the School of Radiologic Technology at Columbus Hospital.  She is currently a CT tech at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington.

After seven and a half total years ministering alongside the people at the Kurtz Church of the Nazarene, Duane and Angela became the pastor at the Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon, IN.  Seventeen days after arriving in Corydon, Angela gave birth to their firstborn son, Carson William on August 17th.  His sister, Addison Rose, joined him on May 22, 2008.

The Boady's bring excitement and strong leadership to the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
